Kate is an award winning comedian, actor, writer and singer, who has performed in London’s Westend and regional and touring theatre, as well as high profile fringe theatre. She has appeared in TV shows on the BBC and Netflix and several short films that have circulated festivals in the UK and abroad. Kate has been an education practitioner for Shakespeare’s Globe for over five years, credits there including the famous Read Not Dead Series and storytelling in the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse. She was one of the original members of NOTFLIX: The Improvised Musical, where she developed the concept for the show with the director.
She is also co-host of the successful podcast, Diversify, whose previous guests include Kai Samra, Maisie Adam, Samuel Oatley (Dr Who), Tez Ilyas and writer and activist, Afia Ahmed.
She also writes regularly for online and print magazines and you can find her hugging a hedge and interviewing contestants backstage on Britain’s Got Talent, series 14.
She has multiple TV projects in development, and has produced several of her own web series, which are growing traction online. Her first novel was longlisted for the prestigious Merky Books, Penguin Random House, New Writer’s Prize ’21.
Kate’s web series, How to be Maggie: With Maggie P, was nominated for the Writers’ Guild Awards for best online comedy and the Funny Women Content Creator Awards.
