Silky.

A smart, funny, kind, stand-up comedian, musician and improviser, has been all over the world in nearly 30 years, from Glastonbury Festival to the Falklands, in search of the finest audiences.

Each show is different because each audience is different. Building his own audience of loyal fans, body-swerving fashion, and keeping under the radar, this versatile, warm and intelligent performer’s secret weapon is word of mouth.

Highly regarded as one of the circuit’s legends, Silky has built a cult following that has taken him globally: China, Kuwait, Dubai, Bahrain, Singapore, Malaysia, Cambodia, the Seychelles, Indonesia, Norway, Sweden, the USA, the Philippines, Kosovo, the Falkland Islands, Australia, and across Europe, from Luxembourg and Germany to the French Alps and Italian Jazz Clubs.

Silky has written and performed an impressive eleven Edinburgh festival shows:

Silky’s Midnight Run (2002)
Nut Allegory (2012)
It Was This Show Or Have Kids (2013)
Tribute Act (2014)

He has also taken shows to the Liverpool, Glasgow, Leicester & Melbourne comedy festivals.
